ST. JOHNS COUNTY, FL -- Investigators have identified the third person killed in a crash in St. Johns County early Thursday morning. The victims drove into a tree that had fallen into the road on County Road 214 near I-95. A man who had crashed near the tree called 911 operators to report his crash when he saw a vehicle turn the corner at a high rate of speed and slam into the fallen tree. The crash killed 19-year-old Kayla Marie Register and 25-year-old Quentin Gilliard. They lived in St. Augustine. Cathy Linn Michelle, 21, of Thomaston, Georgia, also died.
