JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Six people have been plucked from the waters after their boat started to sink.
A good samaritan rescued the people in the Atlantic about 90 miles east of Jacksonville. Everyone aboard the sinking boat was reportedly wearing life jackets at the time of the distress call.
A Coast Guard helicopter from Clearwater, a Coast guard jet with a de-watering pump from Miami, and a Navy P-3 aircraft have been dispatched to bring the boaters to shore.
