
JACKSONVILLE, FL -- The city of Jacksonville is getting $40 million of the $787 billion American Economic Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
The money will be allocated to several projects including road projects, energy programs, public safety and foreclosure preventions.
Mayor John Peyton stopped by Good Morning Jacksonville this morning. He talked in depth about how the money will be used.
