ST. AUGUSTINE, FL -- An SUV went through the side of A&R Auto Electric on U.S. 1 Friday. It has since been removed.

According to the St. Augustine Fire Department, two people were in the SUV headed southbound on U.S 1 about 12:45 p.m. when it crossed oncoming traffic, jumped the curb and hit the parked car, which sent the SUV up and into the wall.

The driver told rescue workers he fell asleep.

There were only minor injuries in the crash.

Rescue officials have left the scene, but the vehicle is still in the wall. Authorities are not sure of the structural stability of the building, and don't want to remove the SUV until they are sure.
