It's Official: Fred Taylor's Season Over

JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Jaguars running back Fred Taylor tore ligaments in his thumb during last week's game against Chicago, and the local doctors told him his season was over.

Taylor sought a second opinion from renowned orthopedist Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Alabama.

Andrews' opinion matched that of the Jaguars' doctors, so Taylor is officially headed to the injury list, ending his season.
