JACKSONVILLE, FL -- The Friday morning show Walking With Dinosaurs at the Jacksonville Arena had technical problems that left ticketholders frustrated and some looking for refunds. After half the show went off without a hitch, patrons returned from intermission and the computer controlling the animatronics could not be restarted. Milton Russos, director of the FCCJ Artist Series, says customers can come back to another show and turn in their tickets for comparable seats. They can also show their parking stubs and get free parking. Several customers called First Coast News upset that they were not getting a refund at the window. Ticket holders can get a refund if they wish says Russos, but they must get the refund from where they purchased the ticket. For example, if they got it from Ticketmaster, they must contact Ticketmaster. If they got if from FCCJ, they must return to FCCJ and get the refund. The computer has been fixed and all other shows are expected to run as scheduled. There are shows remaining at 3 p.m. Friday and at 7 p.m. in the evening. Three shows are set for Saturday, at 11 a.m., 3 p.m., and 7 p.m. One show is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sunday.
