JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Ruth Wilson stocks 1,000 frames, but one is hogging the spotlight.
If they look familiar, Sarah Palin is the reason why. She could be the next VP and she's giving designer Kazuo Kawasaki tons of free publicity.
"A woman came in and said 'I want the Sarah Palin glasses. My husband wants me to wear them because he wants me to look like her,' " Wilson says.
The glasses retail for $350, but the two suppliers we talked to were out of stock. But they expect new shipments to arrive next week.
Jaime Salcedo is also cashing in on Palin pride.
The Jacksonville businessman makes parody products, but says Palin is taking his business to new heights. He sold 50 Palin glasses in two days.
"The closest thing that has taken this much attention, the 'Vote Paris.' The one before that would be the Michael Vick chew toy," Salcedo says.
