
JACKSONVILLE, FL -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is looking for suspects in a second drive-by shooting in as many days in Northwest Jacksonville. Police aren't saying yet if they are connected, but both victims were shot while riding down the street on bikes.
Around 11:15 Sunday morning, police were called out to the Hollybrook Apartments on King Street.
A person on a bike was shot. JSO found the man's body in the street.
Saturday around 12:45 p.m., the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office were called out to a drive-by shooting at West 4th and Eaverson Streets off Kings Road.
Detectives believe three men shot a 20-year-old who was riding his bike. Police say the suspects then drove around the corner and shot up a home near Payne Avenue.
Witnesses tell First Coast News they saw a man hanging out of a car window with a machine gun.
No one in the home was hurt. The 20-year-old victim was taken to Shands. He is in stable condition.
Police have not identified the victims in either attack, but say there is no motive in either shooting.
Police are looking for three males in a white Sedan that took off Eastbound down Grothe Street in connection with the drive-by on Saturday.
