ST. JOHNS COUNTY, FL -- It's a place people come to hear the word, but church members were greeted with a spray of different words.

Graffiti covered the back of San Juan Del Rio Catholic Church. The church is located off of State Road 13 in Switzerland, near Fruit Cove.

Vans, walls, doors, a retreat center and even the Columbarium and Memorial Wall were all vandalized with spray paint.

According to reports from the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office the church has had problems with three juveniles coming on the property.

During the past few weeks incidents of criminal mischief have been popping up with this latest one being the most extreme.

As police piece together their investigation, the hope is, this is the last visual church members will have to see.

According to police reports, the three juveniles are described as white males and one was always seen wearing a knit ski cap.

A white plastic basket was found towards the rear of the parking lot with several spray paint cans.

If you have any information call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-277-TIPS.
