NEW ORLEANS, LA -- Former Jaguars quarterback Mark Brunell has a new home. He and the New Orleans Saints have agreed to a two-year contract.
Brunell spent the last four seasons in Washington. Prior to that, he was the Jaguars quarterback for nine years. Brunell began his career in Green Bay where he was a backup for Brett Favre for two seasons. 2008 will be the 15th NFL season for the 37-year-old.
Brunell is expected to be the backup quarterback for Drew Brees in New Orleans.
