Missing elderly Melrose man in need of medication found

ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. -- The Alachua County Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing elderly man who is in need of medication.

William Charles Davison, 61, was last seen on April 13 at around 10:45 p.m. at his Melrose home. According to an ACSO press release, Davison is diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and Schizophrenia, and is in need of prescribed medication.

He was possibly seen at the Kangaroo in Melrose located at SR-21 and SR-26 Sunday night around 10:30 p.m., the release detailed.

He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue and red flannel overshirt and blue jean shorts. He is believed to be on foot, according to the release.
