Man shot outside house, ex-girlfriend possibly involved

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man was shot outside of a home on the Westside during a drive-by shooting Sunday afternoon.

Police said one of the people in the car may have been the victim's ex-girlfriend. The unidentified victim was hit by a bullet in the torso near the 7200 block North Eudine Dr., according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

At about 2 p.m. an unknown black Ford Mustang carrying multiple passengers pulled in front of the home and fired.

The victim was taken to UF Health Jacksonville with non life-threatening injuries.

JSO is collecting evidence and is continuing to search for the Mustang.
