Ken's Bowtie Classic raises money for mental health services

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Ken Amaro hosted the second annual Bowtie Classic golf tournament at Hidden Hills Country Club Monday.

It's an event that supports Northwest Behavioral Health Services.

"One of their primary functions is providing mental health treatment and they're doing it in the minority community," Amaro said.

Seventy-four golfers signed up to play in the event, several corporate and individual sponsors also added their support.

Final numbers on how much the event raised were not immediately available, but last year's event raised around $20,000 for the cause.
