Jury convicts man of stabbing another man behind laundromat

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A jury found Charles C. Reeder III guilty Thursday of second degree murder. Reeder was accused of stabbing 57-year-old Earl Wayne Griffin in 2013.

In February 2013, officers found Griffin behind a Beach Boulevard laundromat. The investigation revealed that Reeder and Griffin were together behind the business when Reeder repeatedly stabbed him.

Reeder now faces life in prison.

He will be sentenced the week of September 29.
