JSO officer, two others hurt in crash

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- An officer was among three people hurt after a crash involving a patrol car early Sunday.

A patrol car driven by officer B.L. Key was heading north on Hendricks Avenue near Inwood Terrace about 5:30 a.m. when a Toyota ran a stop sign and drove into the patrol car's path, according to a release from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Officer Key, the Toyota's driver and a passenger were all taken to UF Health Jacksonville with minor injuries, the Sheriff's Office said.

Police said the Toyota's driver is at fault for running a stop sign.
