Jaguars to wear helmet stickers honoring U.S. Armed Forces

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars organization plan to honor those who have bravely served our country this Sunday with United States Armed Forces helmet decals.

The organization revealed through social media Sunday morning the decals the players will wear on their helmets that represent the five different branches of the U.S. Armed Forces.

In addition to the decals, Jaguars players will also adorn camouflaged-themed apparel.

It was announced last week that the organization, in partnership with the Greater Jacksonville Area USO, will be providing complimentary tickets to at least 6,000 active, retired and reservist military personnel and their family members.

Tad Dickman, senior manager of Public Relations for the Jaguars, asked military service members who were still in need of a ticket to contact him directly on Twitter.

Upon arriving at EverBank Field on Sunday, fans will receive an American flag to wave throughout the opening ceremony, which will include the singing of the National Anthem by U.S. Air Force veteran Deloris "Dee" Quaranta.
