Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp holds job fair Thursday night

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - If you're looking for a job and you love baseball, listen up! The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp is planning to hire temporary workers for this year's season.

The team is hosting a job fairs at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville Thursday night from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. They are hoping to fill several seasonal game-day positions during their 70 at-home games.

Positions the team is trying to fill include: Game day ticket seller, kids zone attendant, merchandise store employee, promotions team, fan experience representatives, game day clean team, bat boy and ID checker.

If you're interested in a position, you only need to attend one job fair. Also come prepared: Dressed to impress, bring your resume and bring a copy of an application that you can get by clicking here.
