Memorial Hospital closing Atlantic and Julington Creek ER during Matthew

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.—Due to Hurricane Matthew - and to preserve the safety of patients and staff - Memorial Hospital will close two emergency centers beginning 7 a.m. on Friday for 24 hours.

The two hospitals:

Memorial Emergency Center - Atlantic

  • 11850 Atlantic Blvd.
  • Jacksonville, FL 32225

Memorial Emergency Center - Julington Creek

  • 42 Doctors Village Drive
  • St. Johns, FL 32259

The MAIN ER will remain open and fully staffed at that time. Remember that all non-emergency procedures and surgeries are canceled for Friday.

If you've got a medical emergency during the storm, always call 911.

The pharmacy will be closed. All physician practices at Memorial are closed throughout the weekend. Here's Memorial's hurricane website.
