Police in Brunswick seek ID of armed robbery suspect

BRUNSWICK, Ga. -- The Brunswick Police Department is seeking the public's help identifying an armed robbery suspect.

A business on Glynn Avenue was robbed by an unknown suspect who showed store clerk a silver revolver during the incident, according to the Brunswick Police Department. During the robbery the suspect allegedly told the clerk that he was a convicted felon and had been in prison.

According to police, the suspect was "extremely calm," and waited eight to 10 minutes for the safe's lock. He also allegedly warned the clerk that if police were called or responded, he would kill her first, then himself.

"We need to arrest this guy before someone gets seriously injured/killed," BPD stated.
