Kendrick Johnson's family meets with U.S. prosecutor

MACON, Ga. -- The family of Valdosta teen Kendrick Johnson met with U.S. Attorney Michael Moore today for an update on their son's death.

Marcus Coleman, a spokesman for the family, said the meeting began around 9:45 and lasted a half-hour to 45 minutes.

He said the Johnson family reported "progress" on the investigation, although they have not provided details.

Johnson's parents, along with the NAACP,are rallying in front of the Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse at 11 a.m.

17-year-old Johnson's body was found inside Lowndes High School in January last year.

His death was later ruled an accident, but his parents remain unconvinced and are fighting to further the investigation.
