Georgia vs. Florida: Playing for an oar

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- In RV City there's no shortage of school pride ... or rivalry.

People are decked out and in Gator and Bull Dawg gear for the game.

And they're all playing to win.

After the game Saturday ... winner takes ... oar?

The oar has been bestowed on the winner for the past 4 years of the game.

The hand-carved 10-foot oar is a work of art ... but none of the fans seem to know it exists.

"Do you know what the game is played for? What it's played for? Have you heard of the Oar?"

"No," said one fan.

"So tell me what you know about the Oar?

The OAR has lived on both campuses for the last four years, but unlike other famous rivalry trophies, the oar is a mystery to most Florida and Georgia fans. That doesn't mean they don't want it.

"So you want the OAR?

"Yeah we want it! If we win, we want it," said a Georgia fan.

"We're gonna take home the oar," said a Florida fan.

The Oar will be awarded at the end of the game.
