LOVELAND, Colo. -- The Loveland Police officer shot Sunday night during a traffic stop has been released from the hospital.
Officer Garret Osilka, who was formerly a SWAT officer for the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, was released from the hospital shortly before 5:00 p.m. Friday.
Police have not released the details of Osilka's injuries. That information falls under HIPAA regulations and will not be released.
On Tuesday, 23-year-old Cody Alan Powell was arrested on charges of attempted first degree murder of a peace officer and first-degree assault.
His bail was set Wednesday at $500,000.
