Toddlers in stolen car left on roadside by thief

ORLANDO, Fla. - The search continues for those responsible for stealing a car in Orlando with two toddlers inside.

The children, who were found safe about 10 minutes later, were left on the side of the road strapped into their car seats not far from where the car was stolen.

According to investigators, the thief slid behind the wheel at the Ramada Inn on John Young Parkway near Interstate 4 about 8:20 p.m. with a 1-year-old and 3-year-old inside.

The thief drove less than a mile to Gulfstream Road, where the children were found on the sidewalk. They have been reunited with their mother.

On Friday, another vehicle was stolen in Orange County at the Chowder Bay apartment complex.
