CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. -- The Citrus County Sheriff's Office is looking for two children who were illegally taken from their legal guardian at 5:45 PM on September 17, 2016. Stacey Williams, 38, is the mother of the children and she broke into the legal guardian's home and took the children illegally.
The dispute happened after Williams, who is homeless, insisted on seeing the children. When the legal guardian of the children refused, she broke in and broke the phone that the guardian tried to use to call authorities.
Williams then grabbed and scratched the guardian's face and took off with the children. It is unclear which vehicle she took off in, but she may be driving a white 2004 Ford Expedition with license plate tag: DNSC62. There is a possibility that she may be heading up to West Virginia.
The two children that are missing and possibly endangered are Rylan Williams, 3, and Mason Williams, 1. Both children are legally bound by the court to the guardian.
Williams has pending charges of burglary with battery and interference with child custody with no bond.
CCSO are asking the public for any information that can help locate Williams or the children and asks anyone with information to dial 911 immediately.
