JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- EverBank Field is back to normal following two big days of country music that packed 75-thousand people into the stadium for Florida Country Superfest.
The weekend of country music put the city on the map as the superfest was billed as the largest music event in the country this past weekend.
Country stars like Miranda Lambert and Luke Bryan were among the artists who took the stage.
"Two days of Florida Country Superfest, cannot beat it. We believe approximately half of them out of towners, " said Katie Mitura who is the Director of Marketing for Visit Jacksonville.
She said downtown hotels were full and even motels at the airport were full which Mitura says just doesn't happened during the month of June.
On Monday scores of recreational vehicles that poured into the city left following final act that wrapped up around midnight.
"I hope they keep doing it every year. I will come back every year if they do," said Shawn Lovelis who pulled his camper down for the weekend from Savannah.
The city wants to make the two day music event an annual event.
