Fernandina Beach High School teacher arrested

FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. -- A Fernandina Beach High School is facing charges after he allegedly admitted to an inappropriate relationship with a high school senior.

Daniel Wright, 32, allegedly confessed to to Fernandina Beach detectives about an inappropriate relationship with a seventeen year student, according to a release form the Fernandina Beach Police Department.

Wright has been a TV Production and Digital Design teacher at Fernandina Beach High School for the past two years, and formerly taught at Hilliard High School.

Wright was charged with a sex offense involving a minor and is currently in custody at the Nassau County Jail.
