FDLE continues investigation into City of Hampton

HAMPTON, Fla. -- More evidence was collected on Friday in an investigation into the city of Hampton.

Members of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the State Attorney's Office and Bradford County Sheriff's Office were at Hampton City Hall today, according to a post on the BCSO Facebook page.

A state audit found more than 31 problems with the way the city is run, including alleged misuse of city credit cards and city property.

Lawmakers are threatening to dissolve Hampton unless city officials can right the ship.
