JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Florida Highway Patrol responded to a fatal motorcycle crash near the Fuller Warren bridge around 6:07 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Robert Scott Loomis, 31, was traveling on his Ducati Multistrada northbound on I-95, north of Riverside Avenue in the left lane.
Scott attempted to curve right but because of how fast he was driving, he ended up running off the road and colliding with the concrete barrier wall, according to FHP.
The impact of the crash caused Scott to be thrown off his motorcycle onto a concrete support pole in the median.
FHP said Scott wearing a helmet and gear at the time of the crash.
