Police looking for man convicted of child molestation, statutory rape after escaping during trial

Law enforcement in Fulton County, Brunswick and Glynn County, Ga. are currently looking for a man convicted of child molestation and rape after he left during his trial. 

According to officials, Charles Barry Pinckney was convicted in Fulton County for statutory rape and child molestation, and was sentenced to 45 years in prison. Police say is a former corrections officer in the Atlanta area and has immediate family in Glynn County, and the U.S. Marshals Service has credible information that he is in the Brunswick and Glynn County area.
