2 more teens arrested in connection to July 4 murder at Jax Beach

Both teens were charged with second-degree murder. Another teen was arrested in the case earlier this month.

Two more teens were arrested in connection to the death of Glen McNeil Jr., the 23-year-old who was murdered hours after the 4th of July fireworks at Jacksonville Beach.

The Jacksonville Beach Police Department arrested Kejuan Marques Jones, 16, and Darius Kenard Jackson, 17. They were both charged with second-degree murder, attempted murder and armed robbery.

In early November, police also arrested Javoris Deandre Price, 18. He also faces a second-degree murder charge, as well as armed robbery and three other counts.

Price entered three not guilty pleas in court on Wednesday.

McNeil was shot and killed by the Seawalk Pavilion on 1st Street North around 1 a.m. on July 5.

These arrests mark the second and third arrest relating to the case.
