JACKSONVILLE, Fla.- Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan is now the owner of one of downtown Jacksonville's most iconic buildings.
Khan's Stache Investments bought the Barnett National Bank Building out of foreclosure for $50,000 Wednesday, the Jacksonville Business Journal reports.
Stache Investments became involved with the building in 2013 after issuing a $3 million mortgage on the building and the nearby Laura Street Trio, owned by Steve Atkins.
After a fight over the loan, Stache received a $4.6 million judgment on the foreclosure.
Stache's bid topped a $25,000 bid by Alex Klempf, owner of a restaurant company that is building the new Cowford Chophouse downtown.
