STRETCHING YOUR DOLLAR: 3 ways to save on gas this summer

Walmart's Great Gas Rollback program is a one way to save on gas. At participating Walmart or Murphy USA gas stations, use the Walmart credit card from now until Sept. 8 and save up to 15 cents a gallon.


Members of the ExtraCare program can earn one $10 gift card to Shell, ExxonMobil or BP Amoco by spending $30 on specially-marked items that are featured in the CVS weekly circular. The on-sale items are labelled with a gas pump icon, signaling to shoppers that it qualifies toward the free gas promotion. The summer gas program runs now through July 19.
