Bomb threat reported in St. Johns County

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office responded to an unfounded bomb threat overnight Tuesday.

According to the live feed of the department's incident map, the call came in around 10:40 p.m. at the Hastings Youth Academy.

Media Relations Officer Kevin Kelshaw confirmed to First Coast News that deputies responded and investigated the facility, but found no bombs.

The academy is located near the intersection of St. Johns Ave. and Morrison Rd. It provides mental health and behavioral treatment for up to 120 teenage boys.
