JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla.—Two young men were arrested after robbing some Pokemon Go players in Jacksonville Beach early Wednesday morning, police said.

The robberies happened one after another in the area of 1st Street South and neither victim was injured, said Sergeant Crumley with the Jacksonville Beach Police Department.

Police arrived on the 600 block of 1st Street around 12:27 a.m. and saw a potential suspect - matching the description provided by one of the victims - running away. Using K-9s, police said they found 20-year-old Jionne Mack behind a home on 5th Avenue South.

Mack is charged with two counts of armed robbery and resisting police without violence, jail records show.

While searching for Mack, someone reported another armed robbery in the same area, on one of the crossovers that lead from the beach to the Ocean Front Park.

Several witnesses and another victim were chasing the second suspect, Blair Douglas, 18, on foot when police arrived. After a brief continuation of the foot chase, this time with officers, Douglas was arrested.

Douglas is charged with three counts of armed robbery and resisting an officer without violence.

The Jacksonville Beach Police are asking that members of the public who play Pokemon Go to please be aware of their surroundings and to not be in public places after dark.
