LAKE BUTLER, Fla. -- Hundreds in Lake Butler and Union County were at the First Christian Church for Marvin Pritchett's funeral. The Pritchett, 80, was one of several people shot and killed in a shooting spree.
Many people wanted to pay their respects to Pritchett. A TV and chairs were set up outside the church to handle the overflow.
Chelsey Robertson was one of the hundreds at the funeral.
"He was a tremendous powerful personality, and he loved people," said Robertson.
While president of Pritchett Trucking, Marvin Pritchett donated to schools, helped with housing for workers, and helped Lake Butler and Union County in a list of ways. Robertson said that's why it was so important for a fitting tribute.
"I'm going to miss him," he said.
