JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A suspect wanted for a shooting that took place Sunday, August 4, is in now in custody.
Around 3:05 p.m. last Sunday police were dispatched to Applebee's located at 6251 103rd Street in reference to a shooting. Two individuals were located suffering from gunshot wounds.

Anthony Lamar Simmons was arrested by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office in connection with the crime Wednesday, according to JSO.
"Thanks to all who got the word out and helped get this guy into custody," JSO said.
The victims of the shooting were taken to UF Health at Jacksonville with non-life-threatening injuries then released.
