JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Imagine having a beautiful house on the river with a dock, complete with Jet Skis tethered and ready to go when you want to cool off and have some fun.
For Margo Resch, this describes her home, only her Jet Skis were stolen right off her dock early Saturday morning.
"We're secluded, so this had to have happened with somebody that's a regular around here. Somebody that fishes back here all the time, or maybe that is on the bridge all the time, I have no idea- wow!," Resch detailed.
Resch's boyfriend discovered sometime Saturday morning that two Jet Skis were stolen from her elevated dock sometime overnight. According to a Jacksonville Sheriff's Office incident report, the Jet Skis are a 2004 Yamaha Waverunner and a Seadoo Jet Ski.
"I came out here to find that they weren't out here, apparently somebody came out here in the middle of the night and just took them off the dock," added Resch.
In addition to taking the Jet Skis, the thieves caused damage to her dock while loading the Jet Skis into the water.
According to Resch, police told her she wasn't the only one to have a Jet Ski stolen in the area recently.
Anyone who has any information about the identity or location of the suspect or vehicle is asked to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500.
