JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Hundreds of bikers participated in a fundraiser for the Justice Coalition on Saturday.
The annual event is named the "Ride for Justice".
The ride began at Ademec Harley Davidson on Baymeadows Road this morning.
This year's ride was dedicated to the memory of 8-year-old Cherish Perrywinkle who was kidnapped and murdered last weekend.
The ride began almost one week after the little girl's body was found.
Cherish's mother Rayne Perrywinkle was at the opening ceremonies and was recognized.
The money raised goes towards the Justice Coalition and helps victims of violent crime to assist them while they are seeking justice.
The Justice Coalition is credited with helping to bring more than 1,800 criminals to justice.
