JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A popular craft brewer says they've been forced to stop hosting popular events at their open-air brewery.
Intuition Ale Works in Riverside says they've recently been fined for a noise violation after frequent visits by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
They say the complaints all come from a neighbor and it's forced them to permanently close the brewery area.
That's means popular holiday gatherings like Oktoberfest and charitable events held at the brewery won't happen.
The business is looking to relocate and posted a message on its Facebook page, saying in part, "We
are a craft brewery with a focus on the local community, and we
consider it a central part of our mission to be able to open our space
as a venue for community and charitable events. We look forward to the
day when we can welcome those events to our new home."
