JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A 10-year-old boy missing from his home since early morning Friday was found about 30 minutes after his photo was released to the media.
Preston Julius Williams, was last seen at 3:00 a.m. in the area Melvin Road and Firestone Road on the Westside of Jacksonville, according to a release from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office alerted the media via a press release at 11:55 a.m. Williams photo and details went out on various local media website, broadcasts and social media outlets.
At 12:33 p.m. the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office sent out a follow up on the search for Williams, saying "GREAT NEWS! Preston Williams was recovered. Thank you so much for your help. He is safe and well."
