INTERLACHEN, Fla. -- The Putnam County Sheriff's Office responded to an undisclosed location in Interlachen on Thursday to investigate illegal drug activity.
According to a Putnam County Sheriff's report, Matthew Willis, was allegedly making and manufacturing methamphetamine that was produced on-site.
The police officials found more than 80 batches of methamphetamine, which were collected and disposed of, the report detailed.
The report states, Willis, 50, was taken into custody without incident and charged with five counts of possession of drugs and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Willis was transported to the Putnam County Jail and has a six-thousand dollar bond.
"We had received several complaints about illegal drug activity within a specific geographic location. We took the complaints seriously, and ultimately we were able to apprehend the suspect," said Sheriff Jeff Hardy in the report.
