PALATKA, Fla. - Two woman caught shoplifting at a local Wal-Mart are mother and daughter.

The Palatka Police Department responded to a retail theft at the Wal-Mart on S.R. 19 Sunday, according to a police report from the Patlaka Police Department.

The suspects, 49-year-old Cindy Switzer and her 28-year-old daughter Amanda Switzer were allegedly spotted by Wal-Mart employees concealing items in a shopping cart and purse and attempting to leave the store, the report detailed

The mother and daughter team is accused of trying to conceal over $330 of merchandise without paying for it.

Both Cindy and Amanda Switzer were booked into the Putnam County Jail and face a $1,004 bond.
