FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. - Deputies with the Flagler County Sheriff's arrested one of their own Sunday.
A 20-year veteran with the Flagler County Sheriff's Office is behind bars following a domestic dispute that allegedly turned physical, according to a release from the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.
Ronn Rauber, 42, was arrested Sunday following an alleged argument with his ex-wife, the release detailed. Deputies responded to the couple's home around 6:08 p.m. after receiving a 911 call.
Although the couple is divorced they live together as a family, according to the FCSO. Rauber is accused of pinning his ex-wife to a wall by her wrists after learning she allegedly introduced one of their children to a male friend.
Rauber has been charged with misdemeanor battery.
"This is a serious problem in our community and no one is immune from their actions during a domestic argument that turns violent," said Undersheriff Rick Staly. "Our agency has a zero tolerance for domestic violence."
Rauber has been suspended without pay and is facing a $2,500 bond.
