ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- Two years ago this month, Cindy Wolinski started her "Changing Hearts Food Mission" charity.
Every Saturday morning from 9:30-11:30, Wolinski opens her office off of San Juan in Orange Park to give food to those in need because she believes no one should have to worry about where their next meal is coming from.
Wolinski said she came up with the idea to start her own charity while doing volunteer work at a local church.
Wolinski said when families would come and pick up food, they'd share how they thought they'd never be in this position of need.
But what really moved her to reach out and help is because each family would be so grateful for the food and supplies they were receiving.
Wolinski said while she can't help 500 or a 1,000 people or an entire city, every little bit matters to someone.
Wolinski said since she started her charity two years ago, she's helped about 400 families.
If you'd like to donate food or money, or if you're in need of food visit the "Changing Hearts Food Mission" office at 4191 San Juan Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32210.
Or you can visit the charity's website at changingheartsfoodmission.com.
