JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man was killed Monday evening when a tree fell on him in the 4200 block of Ortega Forest Drive.

Jacksonville Sheriff's Officers at the scene said a 41-year-old male died in the backyard of a home after a tree limb fell on him.

A tree company made up of two to three people were cleaning a backyard as an owner prepared a home for sale.

The backyard is so overgrown an officer said he couldn't see the St. Johns River behind the house.
