COLUMBIA COUNTY, Fla. - The Columbia
County Sheriff's Office busted a man and woman who were allegedly making methamphetamine
at a Ft. White home.
Deputies with the CCSO were
serving a warrant on Faulkner Drive when they found two suspects, Daniel Dyal,
43, and Shannon Stamper40, allegedly, "actively
processing clandestine methamphetamine," when the warrant was served, according
to a release from the CCSO.
The warrant was part of a, "lengthy
narcotics investigation," the releases stated. Detectives with the CCSO discovered
materials and chemicals consistent with the illegal manufacture of
methamphetamine on scene.
Approximately 500 grams of methamphetamine was seized,
according to the CCSO, which is about worth $5,000 on the streets. In addition to
the narcotics seizure, a stolen scooter was also recovered by CCSO deputies.
Both Dyal and Stamper were
taken into custody and face multiple charges. Dyal and Stamper are currently in the Columbia
County Detention Facility with a bond of $76,000 each.
