PALATKA,
Fla. -- Palatka Police released the name of a 22-year-old man whose body
was found shortly after midnight on Saturday at 100 block of Florida Avenue.
Police found the body of 22-year-old Ricky Harper when they
responded to reports of gun fire, said Assistant Police Chief James Griffith
with the Palatka Police Department.
On Saturday, investigators interviewed a person of interest in the case, 26-year-old, William Session, according to Griffith.
Session told police that he was leaving his residence and was
confronted by two armed suspects wearing masks. According to Session, the
suspects began shooting at him as he tried to flee.
Palatka Police claim Session allegedly returned gun fire and ran from the
house.
Session was later able to identify Harper as one of the robbers.
