JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office released the name of a pedestrian killed in a hit and run November 2 on Lem Turner. Detectives are still searching for the driver.
Shannon Hartley, Public Information Officer for the Jacksonville
Sheriff's Office, said 54-year-old Gregory Brunson was crossing Lem
Turner Road in the 7200 block.
While he was crossing the street, Hartley said an older model, white, four-door vehicle was traveling south and hit Brunson.
The vehicle then fled the scene, heading South on Lem Turner.
Hartley said rescue personnel transported Brunson to a local
hospital with life threatening injuries. On November 23, Brunson died from
those injuries.
Police are still searching for the driver who hit Brunson.
