JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Fourteen catalytic converters were stolen from U-Haul rental trucks on Southside Blvd and police have no suspects.

Brian Mann of the U-Haul Moving Center at 3129 Southside Boulevard called police and told them a thief or thieves came on the property sometime between 7pm Thursday evening and 7am Friday morning.

According to police it appears the suspect(s) used saws to cut the tail pipes off the trucks to remove the converters. There were several saw blades found under the trucks.

The business has video security cameras but Mann reviewed the video and observed nothing. Police checked for security cameras at nearby businesses but observed none.

The value of the catalytic converters was listed at $9,000.
