JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A plan proposed by the Florida Department of Transportation to replace the Sisters Creek Bridge will be discussed tonight at an informal meeting.

The meeting will take place at the Heckscher Drive Community Club located at 9364 Heckscher Drive. The meeting will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  The FDOT said it is an informal "open house" type of meeting in which those interested in the project can stop to have their questions asked by FDOT engineers.

There is no formal presentation taking place.

The project is scheduled to start in 2015, but may begin in the summer of 2013. It is estimated to cost $52 million.

If you would like further information, you can contact the FDOT Public Information Office at 800-749-2967, ext. 3714.
